Can’t see the wood for the trees when it comes to your content marketing?

Running a business is hard. And, if you’re super busy doing what it is that you do, your website content, blogs and other content marketing are likely to be somewhere at the bottom of your gigantic ‘to do list’.

 

If you’re overwhelmed, you’re in good company, but it doesn’t have to be this way.

 

So, here’s the lowdown:

 

Content marketing is basically the process of developing and distributing content to your target audience. This could include blogs, website content, social media, newsletters and a raft of other things.

 

The real art of content marketing is when these different channels are integrated, creating a seamless and consistent message to your target market. It’s then, and only then, that content marketing becomes the powerhouse marketing machine that you and your business deserve.

 

So here’s an easy exercise to get you started…

 

Define ONE problem/painpoint that your target market has. Write ONE piece of content – a blog – about that problem and give your target market some good solutions. Post it on your website. Send a link to the blog to your mailing list. Then dissect that blog and create at least 5 social media posts that can be shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter.

 

Rinse and repeat…

 

Ready, set, go!
